Greg Berlanti has found his new leading lady.
Thor alum Jaimie Alexander — who had multiple pilot offers this season — has been tapped to star in NBC thriller Blindspot, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The drama centers on Jane Doe (Alexander), a beautiful woman with no memories of her past, who finds herself at the center of an investigation after climbing out of a duffel bag in the middle of New York City’s Times Square with her memory wiped and no clue as to what the extensive tattoos on her body mean.

Bored to Death‘s Martin Gero will pen the script and executive produce the Warner Bros. Television drama alongside Berlanti Productions’ Berlanti (The Flash, Arrow, The Mysteries of Laura) and Sarah Schechter. Mark Pellington will exec produce and direct the pilot.
Alexander next appears in HBO’s Jack Black–Tim Robbins comedy The Brink. She recently completed production on the feature Broken Vows. Blindspot marks her latest TV pilot, following HBO’s Ryan Murphy sexuality drama, Open. Alexander, who played Lady Sif in Thor and Thor: The Dark World, will next reprise the role on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She’s repped by WME, Atlas Artists and Ginsburg Daniels.
