Jason Richman is staying put at ABC Studios.
The creator of Detroit 187 has inked a new two-year overall deal with the studio. Under the pact, he will create and develop new television projects for broadcast, cable and streaming services.
The deal keeps Richman at ABC Studios after he worked on the studio’s Lucky 7 as well as fellow short-lived drama Detroit 187. Most recently, Richman served as a consulting producer for PBS’ Mercy Street. His feature film credits include Touchstone’s Swing Vote. He’s also currently attached to a TV adaptation of The Departed, which is in the works at Amazon.
Richman is repped by CAA, Concoff Entertainment and Savisky Satin as well as attorneys Warren Dern and Jim Gilio.
