Many thanked the late-night comic for the laughs and career support throughout the years, while Justin Timberlake jokingly asked for a car and Bette Midler tweeted her tears.
Meanwhile, producer Mike Royce commandeered Comedy Central show @midnight‘s hashtag for the evening to quip that The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon Starring Jay Leno would be a bad aftershow idea.
See what the stars tweeted about Leno below.
Much love to the one and only @jayleno. Thank you for all the laughs and great times! Also… Can I have a car? No? Ok, cool.
