TORONTO – Jennifer Podemski, Jessica Matten and Glen Gould have boarded the fourth-season cast of Blackstone, the popular Canadian drama about power and politics on a native Indian reserve from Prairie Dog Film + Television.
The award-winning APTN series with ripped-from-the-headlines storylines is shooting another eight one-hour episodes in Alberta through May 2014.
Blackstone‘s fourth season is set to debut this fall.
The returning cast includes Carmen Moore, Eric Schweig, Michelle Thrush, Tantoo Cardinal, Steven Cree Molison and Andrea Menard.
The ensemble cast also includes Justin Rain, Bernard Starlight and John Cassini.
Ron E. Scott executive produces, writes and directs Blackstone, with Jesse Szymanski and Damon Vignale producing.
Los Angeles-based PPI Releasing handles international sales of the series, which also airs in New Zealand on Maori Television and in Australia on SBS/NITV.
