Chris Hardwick has made a career out of being a professional nerd — and he upped his game for Comic-Con with a little help from The Hollywood Reporter.
Hardwick transformed into Marty McFly of Back to the Future fame for THR‘s Comic-Con issue and then wore that around the convention. Jimmy Fallon, for one, was impressed — and praised Hardwick’s look during Monday’s Tonight Show.
Later on NBC, the ladies of Garfunkel and Oates used song to tell the crowd that pregnant women are smug. No, the lyrics are definitely not politically correct. (Case in point: “You think you’re glowing but you’ve been ho-ing and now you are pregnant.”)
Of the late-night hosts, only Conan O’Brien addressed the death of Robin Williams on-air. He had apparently heard about Williams’ death just as taping ended. The result was a raw, emotional attempt to grapple with the tragedy.
