Joan Rivers kept the critics laughing while profanely riffing about her new TV Land show “How’d You Get So Rich?” at TCA but her most headline-worthy dig came at the end of her panel, when asked about NBC airing Jay Leno’s new talk show at 10 p.m.
“I think it’s brilliant that Leno is at 10pm, because America can get bored more easily and go to sleep earlier,” she said. “When was the last time you heard, ‘Did you hear what Leno said last night?’ It will be nice for the Midwest because their crops will be greener.”
Rivers used to be a guest host on “Tonight Show” before Leno took over, you’ll recall. Also, Rivers bashed her “Celebrity Apprentice” competitor Annie Duke, dubbing her “Annie Douche.”
