Comedy duo Joe Port and Joe Wiseman are on the move.
The writing partners will segue from their longtime home at 20th Century Fox Television to CBS Television Studios under a new two-year overall deal, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Under the new pact, the duo will develop and supervise new projects for the studio.

Port and Wiseman most recently worked on CBS’ freshman comedy The Crazy Ones, which hails from 20th TV. Their credits also include 20th-produced comedies 1600 Penn (NBC) and Fox’s New Girl, the latter of which netted them a 2012 WGA nomination. Their work includes co-exec producing NBC’s Perfect Couples and serving as consulting producers on NBC’s The Office. They started their careers as staff writers on Dilbert before becoming story editors on NBC’s Just Shoot Me.
Last pilot season, the duo had semi-autobiographical comedy Joe & Joe & Jane starring Dave Annable and Sally Pressman set up at NBC, but it failed to move forward. Most recently, Port and Wiseman had a teen prodigy cooking comedy set up at NBC with Mike White that did not move beyond the development stage.
Port and Wiseman are repped by UTA and Myman Greenspan.
At CBSTVS, the duo join a roster of producers including Greg Garcia, Doug Ellin, Jennie Snyder Urman as well as Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, among others.
