Just weeks after leaving bidding farewell to The Daily Show, Jon Stewart will be returning to the host seat for WWE’s SummerSlam.
The former late-night host is set to oversee the event when it takes place Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, USA Today first reported.
SummerSlam won’t be Stewart’s first time on WWE programming. Back in March, the former late-night host stepped into the ring on WWE’s Monday Night Raw to settle his friendly feud with heavyweight champion Seth Rollins (the wrestler previously had crashed the Daily Show set and challenged Stewart to a showdown after he caught wind of the host mocking him on social media).
SummerSlam will be a four-hour event broadcasting live on WWE Network at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. An hourlong preshow will air at 6 p.m. ET.
