Jon Stewart is returning to his old stomping grounds.
The former Daily Show host will visit the Comedy Central series Monday — his first appearance since stepping down from his longtime post in August.
Stewart will be Trevor Noah’s guest Monday to call for congressional action on a 9/11 bill. The news was announced Monday on Twitter with a picture of Stewart, still rocking an impressive retirement beard, sitting across from Noah.

Stewart has made very few TV appearances since he left The Daily Show with the exception of the Emmys and CBS This Morning. However, the Emmy winner has kept busy behind the scenes, serving as an executive producer on former Daily Show correspondent Stephen Colbert’s CBS late-night show, which premiered in September just a few weeks before Noah’s Daily Show debut. Stewart also has appeared twice on the Late Show, albeit briefly.
Most recently, Stewart signed a four-year deal with HBO in November to create shortform digital content for the pay cabler.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central.
