Jon Stewart happily donned his media-criticism hat on Wednesday’s Daily Show, picking apart an all too-familiar foil: CNN.
This time he zeroed in on the cable news network’s breathless coverage of the Jodi Arias trial. It was so breathless, in fact, that CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield and HLN’s Nancy Grace ended up seeming to conduct a split-screen interview from the same parking lot.

The Comedy Central host, running with the news from The Atlantic Wire‘s investigation, went on to note of CNN: “It’s like you’re the Amazing Race of news. CNN just runs from town to town doing crazy shit for a giant, novelty paycheck.”
