Deadliest Catch paid tribute to co-star Justin Tennison in the season finale Tuesday night.
The episode of Discovery Channel’s reality show about crab fisherman was dedicated to Tennison, who was found dead in an Alaska hotel room in February. [Watch two clips from the finale at the end of this post.]
STORY: ‘Deadliest Catch’ Co-star Recalls Justin Tennison’s Last Moments Alive
Police arrived to the Best Western Bidarka Inn in Homer, Alaska, on Feb. 24 after receiving a call at 12:52 p.m. Tennison, 33, a member of the Time Bandit fishing vessel, was lying in bed unresponsive.
A small amount of marijuana and several bottles of alcohol were discovered in the room; police believe he had hosted a party there the night before. The cause of death has not been revealed.

“Justin was tough as a bull and was an all-around good hand,” the Time Bandit crew wrote on their website. “The captains and crew appreciated his hard work and many contributions this past year. We will miss him terribly and wish his family all the best during this most difficult time.”
