ReelzChannel has released the trailer from The Kennedys miniseries.
Interstitials promise the series will go: “Behind the public image…lies…the story…of an American dynasty.” It’s set to air this April.
In one scene, Katie Holmes, who plays Jackie O, has a heated conversation with Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., played by Tom Wilkinson.
“You really think everyone can be bought,” Holmes says.
“I haven’t met the exception,” replies Wilkinson.
“Well, you have now,” she asserts.
The Hollywood Reporter first reported that Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver helped convince The History Channel not to air the series.
