Kim Kardashian is continuing her push into scripted fare.
The reality star has been tapped for a multiple episode arc on the upcoming fourth season of Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
Kardashian will play Nikki, who partners with Stacy (April Bowlby) in a new business venture. She will first appear in the Sony Pictures Television dramedy’s season premiere, which is slated for the summer.

Diva revolves around a shallow, aspiring model who dies in a sudden accident only to find her soul resurfaces in the body of a brilliant and thoughtful plus-size attorney (Brooke Elliott). Lifetime renewed the series, which averaged 2.3 million total viewers in its third year, in September.

Kardashian’s casting comes mere weeks after she booked a gig to guest star as herself on a February episode of ABC’s Tim Allen comedy Last Man Standing. In the episode, reality TV addict Mandy (Molly Ephraim) will run into her idol, Kardashian.

Kardashian’s E! series Kourtney & Kim Take New York, chronicling the lead-up to her breakup with NBA player Kris Humphries, concludes its season Sunday.
Her TV credits also include episodes of CSI: NY and How I Met Your Mother and she will next appear in Tyler Perry’s feature The Marriage Counselor. She’s repped by WME.
