Kim Kardashian West sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and talked about everything from potential baby names for her son, Kanye West’s presidential aspirations and when North met Caitlyn Jenner.
When discussing names, Kardashian West said she does not like the name South. “It’s not a good direction,” she said, adding that she doesn’t think they will necessarily stick with the direction theme they started with North West.
“I do like the name Easton, Easton West,” admitted Kardashian West, but she said her husband didn’t like the name.
DeGeneres gifted baby North with a jacket that says “Dad-Ye 2020” and the duo discussed Kanye’s announcement he’s running for president in 2020.
“That was news to me,” said Kardashian West when DeGeneres asked her if she knew he was going to say he wanted to run. In fact, she says that the family had not even discussed the possibility that he would run.
“I believe he is serious, and I know that if he puts his mind to something he’ll do his best,” said Kardashian West. “And he will. You know, it’s been fascinating just hearing all of the conversations that have gone on since that announcement. I don’t know if that was planned, and I just didn’t know about it or if he came up with that idea right then and there.”
Kardashian West also spoke to DeGeneres about when she introduced Caitlyn Jenner to North for the first time. Additionally, in a game of “Never Have I Ever,” she revealed she’s overheard her mom Kris Jenner having sex before.
