The NBC series unleashed the first batch of promos for the coming weekend’s episode, featuring Wiig and musical guest Vampire Weekend, and it includes the distinguished alum going through a list of some of her least-memorable characters, dancing and teasing about a possible cameo by Olivia Newton-John.
Raising expectations for old-school Wiig even higher, she’s joined by frequent sketch partner Fred Armisen. A return of “The Californians” seems inevitable.
