Laura Prepon and Naomi Judd will star in the Lifetime TV movie Iris Johansen’s The Killing Game, a telefilm based on the best-seller by Johansen.
Prepon will play Eve Duncan, the popular heroine in Johansen’s 1999 suspense thriller, who 10 years after the disappearance and murder of her 7-year-old daughter Bonnie, is contacted by a man claiming to be her killer.
Taunted by his clues about Bonnie’s case and his threats to kill again, she throws herself into her career as a forensic sculptor and works to close the case.
Naomi Judd will co-star as Eve’s mother, Sandra Duncan.
The Killing Game is one of 12 Johansen novels revolving around Eve Duncan and has sold nearly 2 million copies worldwide. Johansen has penned 30 consecutive New York Times best-sellers with more than 35 million copies of her books in print worldwide.
Anne Carlucci (Take From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story) will executive produce with Bobby Roth (Reviving Ophelia) directing the script from Jill Blotevogel (Eureka)
Prepon next stars as Chelsea Handler in NBC’s midseason comedy Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea.
