Leno books Michael Moore for his second show

This is a bit bold: “The Jay Leno Show” has booked liberal documentation Michael Moore to appear in studio for its second episode.

This isn’t to say a TV show shouldn’t book Moore any more than a show shouldn’t book Bill O’Reilly.

But for the second episode of NBC’s high-stakes “Leno Show” — a night when the program will likely have its second highest viewership of the fall after its premiere — bringing on a divisive figure like Moore is surprising.

The episode will also feature Tom Cruise, so perhaps NBC figures an influx of Scientologists will compensate for a lack of Republicans…
