Lifetime/History’s Bonnie and Clyde has added two actors to its growing cast.
Prison Break alum Lane Garrison and Austin Hebert, who was recently on Vegas, have joined the miniseries starring Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger in the title roles, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
The four-part mini revolves around the infamous bank-robbing pair, Clyde Barrow (Hirsch) and Bonnie Parker (Grainger). The Lifetime/History project, the first of its kind to air on both AETN networks, is being produced by Smash executive producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who are set up at Sony Pictures Television.
Garrison will play Buck Barrow, Clyde’s older brother and partner in crime. More impulsive and inclined to dive in without thinking things through, Buck becomes Clyde’s most trusted associate in the Barrow Gang. Hebert will portray the tough-minded Ted Hinton, the youngest member of Frank Hamer’s posse that tracks down Bonnie and Clyde.
Oscar winner William Hurt will play Frank Hamer, a Texas Ranger known for his involvement in tracking and killing the 1930s outlaws, and Academy Award winner Holly Hunter will portray Emma Parker, Bonnie’s mother.
Garrison, who appeared in Prison Break as David “Tweener” Apolkis and The Event, is repped by Domain Talent, Horne Agency and Untitled Entertainment. Hebert is repped by Stone Salners Manners Agency and Tash Moseley Management.
