The series is based on Jimmy Fallon‘s regular late-night bit in which celebrities go head to head, lip-synching songs of their choice in a battle for bragging rights. Stephen Merchant serves as executive producer alongside Fallon and Krasinski.
The stars featured include Dwayne Johnson, Anna Kendrick, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Common, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Malin Akerman, Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Queen Latifah, Justin Bieber, Will Arnett,Alison Brie, Mike Tyson, and Terry Crews.
Lip Sync Battle premieres April 2 at 10 p.m., with host LL Cool J also as a producer and Chrissy Teigen as a commentator.
