And Gamora makes five. Vanessa Marshall will provide the voice of the estranged assassin daughter of Thanos in the animated spinoff of last summer’s blockbuster Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, it was announced this morning.
Guardians will continue a lengthy superhero career for Marshall, who has already taken on roles in Marvel’s Avengers AssembleAvengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Black Panther and The Spectacular Spider-Man previously, in addition to roles in Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Young Justice, Justice League and Ben 10. She also voices Hera Syndulla on the current Disney XD series Star Wars: Rebels.
With the addition of Gamora, the voice cast for the movie lineup of the Guardians has been completed. Marshall will join Kevin Michael Richardson‘s Groot, Trevor Devall‘s Rocket Raccoon, David Sobolov‘s Drax and Will Friedle‘s Star-Lord on the series, which will premiere on Disney XD later this year.
