After years of “running out of time,” an onscreen fight and a bit of adultery, Matt Damon is finally going to be a full-fledged guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
It just might be an episode sans Jimmy Kimmel.
In the early, lean years of his show, Kimmel began signing off the air with a mea culpa, saying, “Apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time” — the joke being, of course, that no guest that he had on air possessed the star power of Damon. Years later, Damon got in on the joke, making a massively viral video with Kimmel’s then-girlfriend Sarah Silverman, called “I’m F—— Matt Damon” in 2008. Kimmel and Damon even had an onscreen fight when he “bumped” him at the end of a show.
Now, Damon is joining Kimmel for a real, live episode — and from the looks of this teaser clip, it’s going to be quite hostile … if the show actually gets taped.
