NBC’s Hilary Winston comedy is assembling a top-notch supporting team.
Mena Suvari and Kyle Howard have boarded the Sony Pictures Television pilot about a shy and focused woman named Agnes who leans on her co-workers in a bid to come out of her shell and plot revenge after being dumped by her fiancé, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
In the single-camera project from Happy Endings scribe Winston — which has yet to cast its lead — Suvari and Howard will play chemists on Agnes’ team. Suvari will play a promiscuous party girl, while Howard will play a former jock. They join the previously cast Aubrey Dollar who will play another chemist and member of the team.
Winston will write and exec produce the project alongside Jamie Tarses and Julia Franz, with Adam Shankman attached to direct the pilot.
Suvari, who will next be seen in the American Pie sequel American Reunion, previously guest starred on FX’s American Horror Story.
Howard, whose credits include SPT’s My Boys, recurred on USA’s Royal Pains.
