AXN Central Europe, the channel group controlled by Sony Pictures Entertainment, has snapped up pay-TV rights for French cop series Falco for 15 territories across Central and Eastern Europe.
The series, which airs on TF1 in France, is an adaptation of the hit German show The Last Cop.

The premise has a macho cop from the 80s who wakes from a coma in the current day to find a politically-correct world radically different from the one he knew.
Sony’s AXN picked put the first two seasons of Falco, produced by Beaubourg Audiovisuel, from German group Red Arrow International.
