Spiro (My Boys) stars as a dedicated Chicago doctor whose family drama finds her on the mob’s payroll. Gilford (Friday Night Lights) plays Dr. Brett Robinson, a colleague and love interest for Spiro.
Hickey’s character is described as a wealthy and powerful legal pit bull who has the backing of the federal government and is feared by both corrupt politicians and the mob. Further complicating things, he’s Robinson father.
