Frank W. Ockenfels 3So why exactly aren’t Breaking Bad action figures on Toys R Us shelves anymore?
Florida-based mom Susan Schrivjer — who started an online petition to get the toy store to remove replicas of Walter White (with a tray of crystal meth) and Jesse Pinkman from its shelves — appeared on Fox & Friends on Thursday morning and elaborated on her stance.
“It was a bad idea to have a doll that has fake drugs on it in a toy store — that’s the bottom line,” she said, admittedly feeling victorious that the retailer has since pulled the product. “[I’m] proud of them for making the right decision.”

Schrivjer noted to Anna Kooiman that the problem isn’t one that’s solved solely by not walking your children down that aisle in a toy store. “Putting something that has fake illegal drugs with it next to G.I. Joe or Mario Bros. just morally isn’t right,” she said. “This has nothing to do with people taking their kids in there or buying that or anything; this has to do with the placement of that doll.”
In response to Bryan Cranston‘s tweets about being put on an “indefinite sabbatical” and how he’s “so mad, I’m burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest,” she said she giggled when she saw them, and simply said, “He’s being very good-natured about it and everything, and I truly appreciate that. I don’t feel like I’m being attacked or anything like that.”
