MTV Networks Group is launching a new video gaming division of Comedy Central and Spike called 345 Games, it was announced Thursday.
The new division will develop products based on the group’s franchises and brands, and will be fully supported on-air, off-air and online.
The first two titles that will be released this summer under 345 Games will be from Comedy Central’s animated series Ugly Americans with Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon (mid-July) and from Spike’s multiplatform series Deadliest Warrior with Deadliest Warrior: Legends. (Deadliest Warrior already has a video game, Deadliest Warrior: The Game, which has sold 400,000 downloads to date.)
