ABC’s Nashville has sold to AXS TV in syndication.
The live-event and music-themed network has secured the rights to the first three seasons of the country music drama starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, the company announced Wednesday.

The multi-year licensing deal with Disney-ABC Television Group will see AXS TV begin airing the series in the fall, which could help the newly greenlit fourth season see a bump in viewership as more people are exposed to the series. (The Big Bang Theory repeats on TBS famously helped original episodes of the CBS comedy soar to series highs.)
“Nashville is the perfect complement to our growing lineup of music-inspired series,” AXS TV CEO Mark Cuban said. “With its talented cast, dramatic storylines and powerful performances from industry icons and rising stars, we are confident that Nashville will connect with our viewers, while attracting a new audience of those who may have missed out on watching from the beginning of the series. This will also be a great opportunity for its devoted fan base to experience Nashville all over again.”
Nashville marks the biggest original off-network scripted series to be purchased in syndication for AXS TV. The network’s current roster includes The X-Factor U.K. as well as repeats of Larry the Cable Guy and more.
AXS TV is a partnership between Cuban, AEG, Ryan Seacrest Media, CAA and CBS.
Nashville‘s fourth season returns in September.
