NBC has handed down a pilot order for a medical drama first put in development last season.

The untitled projected from 90201 writers and EPs and Life As We Know It creators Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah, previously referred to as After Hours and The Last Stand, is the second off-cycle pilot ordered from the network this season. (It follows soapy book adaptation The Secret Lives Of Husbands And Wives.)
Described as an ensemble medical show, the pilot follows Army doctors working the late shift at a San Antonio Hospital. NBC opted to hold onto the project following May’s upfronts, most recently ordering a second script.
Sony Pictures TV is producing the pilot alongside Sachs/Judah Productions.
Judah and Sachs are both repped by UTA.
