NBC is following CBS and The CW with a concentrated rollout.
The network on Monday announced premiere dates for the 2017-18 broadcast season, with the bulk of the launches focused on Premiere Week.
NBC will kick off the fall season Monday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a two-hour debut of The Voice, which will be followed by freshman military drama The Brave in the prime 10 p.m. slot. Dan Fogelman’s breakout family drama This Is Us will return to the schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 9 p.m. following The Voice, with Dick Wolf anthology Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders immediately following at 10 p.m. Wednesdays will see The Voice open the night at 8 p.m., followed by Law & Order: SVU and Wolf’s Chicago P.D.
The Thursday comedy block will launch Sept. 28 with Superstore at 8 p.m., followed by The Good Place, the highly anticipated Will & Grace revival and Great News leading into Chicago Fire at 10 p.m.
The return of The Blacklist will be held until Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m., with Blindspot coming Friday, Oct. 27, at 8 p.m.
