NBC has set a return date for its revamped Law & Order: Los Angeles.
The freshman crime procedural will return Monday, April 11 with a two-hour episode at 9 p.m. before resuming its regular time slot the following week at 10 p.m.
“We are pleased to welcome Law & Order: Los Angeles back to NBC’s regular lineup,” said Bob Greenblatt, chairman of NBC entertainment. “Dick Wolf and his team have made some exciting creative changes and we can’t wait to reintroduce the show to audiences.”
Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone exited the drama amid creative changes in mid-January, following Wanda de Jesus‘ departure prior to the series premiere in September. Alfred Molina became a full-time regular and Law & Order vet Alana de la Garza joined the cast.
LOLA was originally set to take over Parenthood‘s Tuesday at 10 p.m. time slot beginning Feb. 8, but was instead benched for creative retooling. Parenthood was supposed to move to Mondays at 10 p.m. after a brief hiatus on March 7, but ended up staying put with no break in originals.
