Last year’s Peter Pan Live! didn’t draw ratings or reviews.

On Thursday (December 3), NBC takes its third stab at a live winter musical with The Wiz Live! featuring a Tony-winning director in Kenny Leon and the talents of Queen Latifah, David Alan Grier, Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo and newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy.
