Netflix’s sci-fi drama Another Life has added four actors to its cast and found a director for its first two episodes.
Tyler Hoechlin, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson and Elizabeth Faith Ludlow are joining a cast that already includes Katee Sackhoff and Selma Blair. Omar Madha (The 100, 24: Live Another Day) will direct the first two installments.
Created by Aaron Martin (Being Erica, DeGrassi: The Next Generation), Another Life centers on astronaut Niko Breckenridge (Sackhoff), who is leading a mission to discover the origins of an alien artifact.
Hoechlin (Supergirl) will play Ian Yerxa, the former commander of the ship Niko now leads. Chatwin (Shameless) will portray Wallace, Niko’s husband and a member of the United States Interstellar Command that seeks out life elsewhere in the universe.
Anderson (Doctor Who) will play William, the holographic interface of a sentient AI that has the entirety of human knowledge at its disposal. Ludlow (The Walking Dead) will portray Cas Isakovic, Niko’s second in command and staunch ally.
Martin is executive producing the series with Noreen Halpern, via the latter’s Halfire Entertainment.
Hoechlin is repped by UTA, Management 360 and Morris Yorn. Chatwin is with UTA and Viewpoint. Anderson is repped by Domain Talent and Creative Artists Management. Ludlow is with Abrams, Tassell Talent Group and Industry Entertainment. Madha is repped by UTA and The Gotham Group.
