Person of Interest star Enrico Colantoni has boarded Netflix’s time-travel sci-fi drama Travelers.
Colantoni will play Vincent, a mysterious individual who may or may not be a friend of the travelers, and will star opposite lead Eric McCormack. Also guest-starring in the second season shoot in Vancouver is Stephen Lobo (Continuum) and Sanctuary star Amanda Tapping, who also will direct multiple episodes.
Travelers follows a group of people from the future who have discovered how to send consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century. McCormack stars as FBI Special Agent Grant MacLaren, the team’s leader.
The cast also includes Mackenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abramson, Reilly Dolman and Patrick Gilmore. The second season picks up on the group’s haunting realization that their missions may have altered the future in ways they did not predict.
The series from Peacock Alley also airs on Showcase in Canada, with a second-season debut set for fall 2017.
Carrie Mudd, Brad Wright and John Lenic share executive producer credits.
