Summer may end this month but high-profile movie releases from May, June and even early July are just arriving on iTunes. In September, summer hits like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Spy and San Andreas will be available for download along with high-profile, critically acclaimed June releases Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Dope and Batkid Begins. Fans of the Pitch Perfect, Insidious and Magic Mike franchises, whose latest films will be available on iTunes in September, can also purchase bundles of all of the films in the series.
Robin Williams fans can also download (at last) Disney’s Aladdin and his final big-screen appearance in Boulevard. Meanwhile, a number of September movie releases are hitting iTunes the same day they hit theaters, including Chris Evans‘ directorial debut Before We Go, the Nat Wolff and Emma Roberts starrer Ashby, award-winning bullying documentary A Brave Heart, and Cooties, featuring Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Nasim Pedrad and others.

As is true with Amazon Instant Video and Hulu, new and returning series make up the bulk of September’s iTunes TV additions as fall TV season kicks off next month. New episodes of returning hits like The Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, Black-ish, Empire, Modern Family, Scandal and Once Upon a Time and high-profile new series like The Bastard Executioner, Scream Queens, The Muppets, NBC’s Heroes Reborn revival and The Daily Show With Trevor Noah will be available the day after they air. The two-hour movie finale of CBS’ long-running CSI will also be available for download on Sept. 28.
More episodes of the first season of Starz’s Outlander will also be available for download starting at the end of the month. And earlier in September, tennis fans who haven’t gotten their fill of on-court action from the U.S. Open can check out the HBO mockumentary 7 Days in Hell.
