The Nominations for the 32nd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced Monday by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
CBS led with 34 nominations, 23 of which were for 60 minutes. PBS took second, with 32 nominees. NBC followed with19 nods, and then National Geographic with 15. ABC and HBO each received 12 nominations.
This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to CNN’s Larry King.
The Emmys will be handed out Monday, September 26, at Rose Hall in New York City.
