Bravo is canceling Odd Mom Out.
The network has decided to not move forward with a fourth season of the comedy from creator and star Jill Kargman. The news means that the Sept. 13 third season finale serves as the series finale.
Kargman took to Instagram to share the news. “Alas, all good things must come to an end, including this wacky gang ruining takes with peals of laughter,” she wrote. “I’m filled with pure GRATITUDE to @bravotv and my entire @NBC family for giving a 40-year-old mom the insanely incredible opportunity to realize my dream of working in TV and I’m *so* excited for what lies ahead. Thank you to our brilliant Odd Mom Out cast, crew, and devoted fans for three incredible seasons. I love you all so so much.”

Following Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, Odd Mom Out was Bravo’s second original scripted series. The comedy chronicled a satirical version of Kargman dealing with much wealthier moms in her neighborhood, inspired by her own life on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Produced by Left/Right Productions, Jax Media and Piro, the series also starred Abby Elliott, Andy Buckley, K.K. Glick, Sean Kleier and Joanna Cassidy.
Despite the cancellation, sources say that Bravo will stay in the originals business, unlike other networks — including MTV, A&E and WGN America — that have recently pulled back on scripted programming. In April, Bravo renewed its other original scripted series Imposters, a dark comedy about a con artist, for a second season. Last year, the network renewed Girlfriends Guide to Divorce for three season so that it would run five seasons total. The dramedy starring Lisa Edelstein is currently airing its fourth season now.
