Once Upon a Time is adding another Lost vet.
Elizabeth Mitchell has joined ABC’s fairy-tale drama in a mysterious recurring role for season four, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.
STORY ‘Once Upon a Time’ Finds ‘Frozen’s’ Elsa
Details on Mitchell’s character are being kept under wraps, but she is believed to have villainous ties to Frozen sisters Anna (newcomer Elizabeth Lail) and Elsa (Fringe‘s Georgina Haig) of Arendell. EW first reported the news.
Executive producer Adam Horowitz told The Hollywood Reporter in May that they were “honored” to be able to incorporate the Frozen universe into Once. “We fell in love with [the movie] when it came out last year like everyone did, and we want to do our best to do it justice,” he said at the time.

Mitchell is the latest castmember to join the Once universe in the new season. Along with Lail and Haig, Greek‘s Scott Michael Foster will be joining as Kristoff, Anna’s beau.
Mitchell, who reunites with Lost vets Horowitz and Kitsis on Once, is coming off a two-season run on NBC’s Revolution and previously starred on ABC’s sci-fi series V. She is repped by Paradigm and LINK.
