SYDNEY — Oprah Winfrey‘s giddy audience of 300 has landed in Sydney to begin enjoying the talk show queen’s ultimate giveaway — an eight-day journey across Australia.
Winfrey kicked off her 25th and final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show in September by surprising audience members with what she’s billed as the trip of a lifetime.
Audience members will explore the Great Barrier Reef, the Outback and the country’s wine regions. They’ll take surfing lessons, check out kangaroos and koalas on Kangaroo Island and enjoy beachside barbecues.
Winfrey will film two episodes at Sydney’s Opera House, and a third episode at a yet-to-be disclosed location, rumored to be somewhere in the Outback.
