Matt McGorry is set to star in the indie drama How He Fell in Love, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
The film is from writer-director Marc Meyers and centers on a struggling musician (McGorry) who begins a relationship with a married woman (Hargreaves). The affair will bond — and change them — in surprising and lasting ways.

Shooting on the Ibid Filmworks project begins at the end of April. Meyers is producing with Jody Girgenti.
McGorry is best known for his work on the Netflix dramedy Orange is The New Black, in which he plays good-natured prison guard John Bennett. The series returns for season two on June 6.
McGorry is repped by Gersh and Authentic Talent.
