Ira BlackFor the first-ever episode of Pret-a-Reporter‘s Off the Cuff podcast, co-hosts Jessie Katz and Brandon Kirby welcomed Orange Is the New Black star Danielle Brooks, who plays the fun-loving fan-favorite inmate Taystee on the hit Netflix show.
Brooks stopped by the #pretapodcasts studio and dished on season two, or at least all she could (Taystee gets a flashback!), which returns June 6. “I would get fired!” she joked about revealing too much. The actress also told us about her role in the upcoming indie I Dream Too Much and how a duet with Uzo Aduba, who plays Crazy Eyes in OITNB, has her thinking about advancing her singing career.
