Page Six TV will be back.
Fox Stations has picked up the syndicated show for a national debut in fall 2017, it was announced Tuesday.
The series order comes after a successful summer trial run for the show, based on the popular gossip column from the New York Post. So far, 17 stations are on board for the series, which is currently set for 17 markets, including New York and Los Angeles. Page Six TV is the first new syndicated entry to get the green light for a 2017 launch.
Twentieth Television will handle distribution for the show, which hails from the New York Post and Endemol Shine North America.
Modeled after the Post’s “Page Six” column, the daily series features a group of contributors and insiders who deliver the latest gossip and news from the worlds of entertainment, culture, media, finance, real estate and politics.

New York Post “Page Six” reporter Carlos Greer, editor Emily Smith and deputy editor Ian Mohr all appeared regularly on the program during its summer trial run. Hosted by John Fugelsang, the show has among its contributing experts and insiders Mario Cantone (Sex and the City), Bevy Smith (Bravo’s Fashion Queens) and Variety entertainment reporter Elizabeth Wagmeister. It is has not yet been announced who will return for the fall 2017 launch.
Kay O’Connell (Jimmy Kimmel Live!) and Matt Strauss (The View) served as executive producers, alongside New York Post CEO and publisher Jesse Angelo and Endemol Shine North America’s Rob Smith and Michael Weinberg.
“Waiting for someone else to provide first run, day/date programming for us is a mistake,” Fox Television Stations’ senionr vp, programming Frank Cicha said. “Several companies pulled together to execute the Page Six TV test, and we saw enough in the finished product to give it a go.”
Added Endemol Shine North America co-CEOs Charlie Corwin and Cris Abrego: “We’re thrilled Page Six TV is headed to national syndication with our partners at the New York Post, Fox TV Stations and the team at Twentieth Television. We are really proud of the preview that our team developed and produced over the summer and we’re now eager to share Page Six TV with the rest of the country.”
The New York Post is the latest news publication to enter the television space. TMZ and TMZ Live were renewed in June through 2019 and 2010, respectively, on Fox Stations. National Enquirer Investigates launched this past summer on Reelz.
