CBS has released a new clip from Paula Abdul‘s Live to Dance, which premieres Jan. 4.
The trailer shows Abdul’s trademark niceness; she cheers on the contestants and hugs her co-judge, former Pussycat Dolls singer-dancer Kimberly Wyatt.
Like on American Idol, Abdul sits in the middle of the judges’ table. (Travis Payne, who worked on Michael Jackson‘s This Is It, rounds out the panel.)
“I want different. I want new,” Abdul enthuses. “I want amazing people who believe in their unique ability.”
