Jimmy Kimmel had the honor of revealing the cover for People‘s Sexiest Man Alive issue, and this year the honor goes to … Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth!

The actor appeared via Skype to accept the honor from Kimmel, who had one question: What’s it like to beat out all those other guys, especially Kimmel nemesis Matt Damon? Likely to Kimmel’s chagrin, Hemsworth said everything he knew about being sexy, he learned from Damon.
Other recent honorees include Adam Levine (2013), Channing Tatum (2012), Bradley Cooper (2011), Ryan Reynolds (2010) and Johnny Depp (2009). A 29-year-old Mel Gibson was the first man to hold the title back in 1985.
