The Producers Guild of America has announced its nominees in the categories of sports, children’s and short-form TV programs for the 2021 PGA Awards.
Sports program nominees are Defying Gravity: The Untold Story of Women’s Gymnastics, Hard Knocks: Los Angeles, Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, Seeing America with Megan Rapinoe and The Shop: UNINTERRUPTED Featuring President Barack Obama.
Kids program nominees are Animaniacs, Carmen Sandiego, Looney Tunes Cartoons, The Power of We: A Sesame Street Special and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Short-form nominees include Better Call Saul’s Employee Training: Legal Ethics with Kim Wexler, Between The Scenes – The Daily Show, Carpool Karaoke: The Series, Inside Pixar: Inspired and SNL Presents: Stories from the Show.
The winners in these categories as well as the PGA Innovation Award will be presented during a virtual expansion on the guild’s annual pre-awards nominees breakfast event, this year titled A Day With The PGA Awards Nominees, sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter. That virtual event, featuring panels with nominated producers, will take place on Saturday, March 20.
