Power Rangers director Dean Israelite has left CAA for WME, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
THR‘s review praised Israelite’s handling of the Lionsgate reboot, noting that he “orchestrates a vastly more complex array of characters, action set pieces and technical resources for a combined effect that maintains dramatic tension even while teetering on the brink of excess.”
It’s the second feature for the director, having cut his teeth in 2015 on another teen sci-fi thriller, Paramount’s Project Almanac.
Israelite continues to be represented by David Gardner of Principato Young and by Bloom Hergott.
