Jill Zarin was taken to the hospital Friday after she was injured in a “three-car pileup” in New York City, according to a statement from Zarin’s rep.
The accident happened around 11 a.m. ET on the FDR Drive, the statement adds.
The former Real Housewives of New York star, who was on the Bravo reality series from 2008-2011, was “rushed by ambulance” to the hospital, where she was treated for unknown injuries and later released, according to the statement.
Zarin was on her way to promote Night Of The Wild, which premieres Saturday on SyFy, her rep added.
No additional information was released.
On Friday afternoon, Zarin tweeted, “Hi everyone this is Jill’s media assistant @MaggieRey7046. Jill is doing well and resting after the car accident this morning” and “Any tweets since the accident had been scheduled by me. Sorry for any confusion.”
