A source with knowledge of Kim Richards‘ stay in rehab tells The Hollywood Reporter that “she has not left treatment,” shooting down an earlier report that she had checked out of an inpatient facility.
The source provided no further details on status of Richards’ recovery.
After falsely reporting that Richards had left rehab, People magazine clarified its initial report on Thursday to say that the Bravo Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and former Disney actress remains in a facility, and was visited by her daughter, her sister Kyle Richards and Kyle’s three daughters.

According to media outlets, Richards entered rehab earlier this month following months of erratic behavior that was caught on camera during the first and second seasons of the reality show. She previously sought treatment after the series’ October 2010 debut.
This season on Bravo’s Beverly Hills edition, Richards was shown telling Dr. Paul Nassif, the plastic surgeon-husband of fellow housewife Adrienne Maloof, that she had been taking a mixture of anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication. In other dramatic footage, Richards and her co-star and sister, Kyle Richards, got into a heated argument with new castmate Brandi Glanville wherein Glanville accused the single mother of being on drugs.
