Less than a week after heading off on maternity leave, Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie has given birth to her second child.
Guthrie, who revealed on the NBC morning show that she was expecting a boy, and her husband, Mike Feldman, welcomed son Charles Max Feldman on Thursday morning.
Named after Guthrie’s late father and Feldman’s grandfather, the baby will be known as “Charley.”
The news was announced on Friday’s Today, with Guthrie’s colleagues — Matt Lauer, Tamron Hall, Al Roker, Hoda Kotb, Willie Geist and Dylan Dreyer, who’s also pregnant and about to begin her own maternity leave — applauding Guthrie’s new arrival and shared pictures of the baby.
Guthrie announced this summer that she was pregnant with her second child. She and Feldman are also parents to a girl, Vale.
