Gladiators, rejoice!
ABC’s midseason thriller Whiskey Cavalier will be reuniting Scandal stars Scott Foley and Bellamy Young.
The hourlong action dramedy stars Foley as FBI agent Will Chase, who is assigned to work with a badass CIA operative named Frankie (Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan). Young will appear in one episode as Karen Pappas, the gorgeous widow of a nefarious Greek shipping magnate who dazzles Will, promising romance, espionage and more.
Young still has the ABC drama False Profits in the works. The pilot did not make the series pickup cut in May, but executives opted instead to redevelop the project and are mulling a decision on a series pickup after reviewing multiple new scripts.
The casting reunites Young with Foley mere months after the duo wrapped six seasons of ABC’s Shonda Rhimes political drama Scandal. Fans of the duo likely saw both post Instagram photos of them together in Prague, where Whiskey Cavalier has been filming.
A premiere date for Whiskey Cavalier, from Dave Hemingson and Bill Lawrence, has not been determined. Watch the trailer, below.
Young is repped by UTA, Anonymous Content and Schreck Rose.
