Shia LaBeouf had a turbulent summer, to say the least. So what was the deal with his arrest at a Broadway performance of Cabaret?
The actor appeared on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live and blamed his brush with the law on the World Cup. You’ll have to watch the video clip below to see why.

LaBeouf also revealed that he tried intimidating his six cell mates, and it was going well until one asked LaBeouf what he did. “[One inmate] is like, ‘What are you in here for?’ And I’m like, ‘Cabaret, homie,’ ” LaBeouf said.
LaBeouf stars in Fury, which hits theaters this Friday, and he told Kimmel that the film’s director actually encouraged the cast to get into fistfights each morning on the set.
As you might guess, Brad Pitt got treated a bit differently in the scuffles than the film’s other co-stars did. But that doesn’t mean LaBeouf let him go completely unscathed.
